In the past weekend TELE-POST participated in the biggest annual Nordic stamp exhibition. The Nordia Exhibition 2015 took place in Stockholm. It was an occasion to meet thousands of stamp collectors from the important Nordic market for stamps and philately.
Stockholm formed the backdrop for this year's Nordia exhibition, October 30th to November 1st. Scandic Infra City in the suburb Upplands Väsby was the site of the event, only 15 kilometers north of the center of the Swedish capital. This annual Nordic stamp exhibition takes place alternately between the five major Nordic countries. Last year at the same time it was hosted by Norway. Sweden Filatelistförbund and Norrots Frimärksförening arranged Nordia 2015.
The exhibition was a success, among others, participation of stamp dealers from all Nordic countries and Germany, as well as postal services from the entire Nordic region, as well as a major focus on youth, as the exhibition took place at the end of the Swedish schools' autumn holiday.
TELE-POST participated in the joint Nordic stand together with the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Åland, Finland and Norway. For Greenland, the best-selling stamps and collectibles were: TELE-POST’s new Christmas stamps designed by Christian Fleischer Rex, the still very popular expeditions book from 2014 and of course the Year Pack 2015 with all year 24 stamps and 4 souvenir sheets. Nordia 2015 gave ample opportunity to service existing stamp subscribers of TELE-POST, and offered various new customers who subscribed to Greenland stamps.
