New Stamp by POST Greenland on the occasion of the 12½ years' wedding anniversary of The Danish Crown Prince Couple

Today, on Monday, 17th October, POST Greenland issues a beautiful stamp on which HRH The Crown Prince, HRH The Crown Princess and their four children are wearing their beautiful national costumes of Greenland.

There are both warm and strong bonds between Greenland and our royal family. The bonds have been formed in deep mutual respect and confirmed through generations.

Everywhere in Greenland, our royal family members elicit great enthusiasm and interest. In recent years, The Crown Prince Couple and their children have increasingly attracted the most attention. It is evident that The Crown Prince Couple and their children also have warm feelings for Greenland and the Greenlandic people. This was, most recently, confirmed during The Crown Prince Family's latest visit to Greenland in the summer of 2014.

It is therefore fitting that TELE-POST would like to mark The Crown Prince Couple's 12½ years' wedding anniversary, which will be celebrated on the 14th of November this year, with a stamp. The portrait photograph of The Crown Prince Family in their beautiful national costumes of Greenland was taken by photographer Steen Brogaard, who has photographed famous and royal people for a number of years.

With this stamp – in normal sheets and a souvenir sheets – POST Greenland warmly congratulates our beloved Crown Prince Couple and their children on the 12½ years' wedding anniversary on the 14th of November 2016. We are looking forward to another warm and happy meeting in connection with The Crown Prince Family's next visit to Greenland.

Best regards,

POST Greenland
