TELE-POST received considerable attention at a large international stamp exhibition held in London, where stamps and philately at the highest international standard were displayed.
The international philatelic exhibition EUROPHILEX London 2015 took place at the Business Design Centre in the Islington district of London. The exhibition is the largest stamp exhibition held in Europe this year, and a huge number of collectors with purchasing power, plus trade professionals from around the world, visited the exhibition.
TELE-POST’s stand received much attention. Stamps with royal designs are very popular in Great Britain and the special commemorative stamp, issued on the occasion of HM the Queen's 75th birthday, sold well.
There was also a keen awareness of the stamps which TELE-POST issued on the exhibition's opening day on 13th May, plus the two definitive series stamps featuring the Queen's portrait in profile all sold well too. In addition, there was also great interest in TELE-POST’s book ‘Twelve Greenland Expeditions 1818 – 1978’, published in four different languages.
All participants at the exhibition, including 100 postal administrations and dealers, also sold back issues as is usual practice in the industry. Therefore, collectors were able to fill all the gaps in their stamp collections.
