We have reached the second part in our series ’Greenlandic plants’. Female artist Buuti Pedersen is still behind the plant illustrations for the entire series. The two plants reproduced in this second part of the series are Arctic Felwort and Glacial Buttercup. The stamps are printed in offset and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
We have also reached the second part of our series ‘Ethnographic photographs from Greenland’. The series not only affords a visual insight into Greenland’s cultural history, but also acknowledges the rich heritage and countless life stories found in these old photographs. The series has been created in collaboration with Ina Rosing. Both stamps are printed in offset on self-adhesive paper in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
The series on Greenlandic dog sleds concludes with two stamps designed by Konrad Nuka Godtfredsen. On this occasion the North Greenland sled is featured which, in many respects, resembles the West Greenland sled depicted on the stamps that launched the series back in 2024. The stamps are issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps printed in offset.
28th March also on 8th and 23rd May
The National Dog Sledding Championship is Greenland’s most prestigious dog sled race. The race brings together the top mushers from all over Greenland for this important cultural event that celebrates the tradition of dog sledding. We are marking the Greenland Dog Sledding Championship on 28th March with an exceptional stamp created by Miki Jacobsen. The stamp is printed in offset and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
EUROPA stamps are celebrating a 70th anniversary in 2026. Today, the EUROPA stamps family has grown to 53 postal organisations across the continent. Finnish-German Klaus Welp has created the common design that adorns one of the two stamps in the set. Greenlandic artist Bolatta Silis-Høegh has designed the other stamp. Both stamps are printed in offset in sheets of 10 identical stamps. Moreover, both stamps are issued in a stamp booklet printed on self-adhesive paper. The issue date is 8th May.
Iconic landmarks is the theme of this year’s Sepac stamp. The stamp will be issued on 8th May. The Sepac co-operation, which currently comprises 13 small European postal administrations, also includes a joint souvenir folder featuring the member countries’ Sepac stamps from the year. This souvenir folder will be issued in September.
Our 2026 franking labels reproduce beautiful designs depicting Greenlandic fauna. The set of four franking labels will be issued on 23rd May.
The Boston 2026 World Stamp Show takes place from 23rd to 30th May. Tusass Greenland is participating in the world exhibition with a stand and issuing two stamps to mark the occasion. The two stamps, created by the legendary Martin Mörck, will be issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps, an attractive souvenir sheet and a souvenir folder.

Every year Tusass Greenland issues an additional value stamp in aid of a cultural or social cause in Greenland. In 2026, the Armargivat shelter in Tasiilaq will be favoured with a stamp. It is issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps, a souvenir sheet and an attractive souvenir folder.
Aasivik means ’summer gathering’ or ’summer camp’ in Greenlandic and in traditional Greenlandic culture refers to the settlements where the Inuit gathered and lived in the summer. In 1976, a new Aasivik tradition took root in Greenland, whereby Greenlandic young people met for an annual summer camp to discuss important topics concerning Greenlandic identity. We are marking the 50th anniversary of the first Aasivik of the modern era with a captivating stamp by Ivínguak’ Stork Høegh. The stamp is printed in offset and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
A total solar eclipse is due to occur on 12th August. It will pass across Northeast Greenland before continuing on to Iceland and Spain. Numerous expeditions are planned to view the phenomenon from Greenland and Iceland where the moon’s shadow, for example, hits the Blosse-ville coast. We are marking this lunar event with a superb stamp by Malene Guldager Olsen, who will be making her long-awaited stamp debut. The offset stamp will be issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
Christian Fleischer Rex is creating a brand-new series entitled ’The history and use of the kayak’. We are launching the series with two outstanding stamps that are printed in offset and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps. Both stamps are also issued in an attractive souvenir sheet.
The definitive series featuring the King is being issued in a new denomination. Steen Brogaard took the portrait photo, while Martin Mörck has created the engraving. The stamp is printed in laser engraving and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
Our issue on 12th August concludes with a stamp booklet comprising two copies of each of the six stamps in our dog sled series 2024 – 2026. The booklet is printed on self-adhesive paper.

Lisbeth Karline has created two new designs in the series Everyday Heroes in Greenland. The identity of the heroes will not be revealed until the actual stamp issue. Both stamps are printed in offset in sheets of 10 identical stamps.
Since 2020, Tusass has successfully rolled out Coding Class throughout Greenland, whereby primary and secondary school students learn coding and technological understanding. The aim is to promote digital skills and innovation, culminating in annual championships. In 2023, the streaming service Tusass Music was developed and launched to support Greenlandic musicians, in collaboration with the company Tunes Global. The aim is to afford Greenlandic artists better earnings by bringing their music together on one platform with a unique user-centred distribution model that ensures that subscribers’ payments go directly to the artists they listen to. We are marking both events with two stamps designed by the young artist Maja-Lisa Kehlet. The stamps are issued in sheet of 10 identical stamps.
Paarma Olsvig Brandt has designed this year’s two Christmas stamps. This is the third time this visual artist has tried her hand at stamp art. The Christmas stamps will also be issued in a stamp booklet printed on self-adhesive paper.
The Year Pack comprising one copy of the year’s stamps and souvenir sheets concludes the stamp year for 2026.
