The dates of issue are:

29th February 2024

The final part of the 'School Savings Coupons in Greenland' series included two stamps which were issued on 29th February. These were the ninth and tenth stamps in the series, which commenced in 2020. The original illustrations were created by Alex Secher back in 1957, while graphic artist Nina Spore Kreutzmann designed all the stamps reproducing the original illustrations. The two stamps were issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps printed in offset.

The third part of the series ‘Tattoo Art in Greenland’ brought a stamp debut for two young artists Ujammiugaq Møller and Mimi Josefsen, who each created a beautiful stamp conveying their interpretations of the theme. These stamps were also printed in offset and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps. Moreover, both stamps are available in an attractive souvenir sheet.

24th and 26th May 2024

This year's theme for EUROPA-stamps is ‘Underwater Fauna and Flora’. The experienced and creative Miki Jacobsen has created two outstanding EUROPA stamps depicting Greenlandic fauna and flora below the surface of the Arctic Sea. They are each issued in sheets of 10 offset stamps and an attractive stamp booklet; the latter is printed on self-adhesive paper.

‘Everyday Heroes’ is the title of a series that commenced last year. We continue on 24th May with a set of two new stamps honouring two more everyday heroes in Greenland. Both stamps are printed in offset and each is issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps. Lisbeth Karline is once again the artist who created the designs.

‘Main Tourist Attraction’ is this year's stamp series theme for the Sepac network, of which Greenland currently holds the Chair. This is an ideal way for the small European postal services to mark the 25th anniversary of the network. Greenland's main tourist attraction is the Ilulissat Icefjord, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Photographer Mads Pihl has taken the photograph for the stamp, which will be issued on 24th May in sheets of 10 identical stamps.

The centenary of Knud Rasmussen's legendary Fifth Thule Expedition is being marked with an impressive stamp in classic steel engraving. Norwegian Martin Mörck is the man who created the design. This stamp, also issued on 24th May, will be available in full sheets of 10 identical stamps.

The succession of the throne in the Royal House, which took place in January 2024, is now being marked with a superb joint stamp issue in the Danish Realm. This features a souvenir sheet bearing a portrait of the new Regent, King Frederik X. The design was created by graphic designer Ella Clausen based on a photograph by Steen Evald. The joint stamp issue also includes a joint souvenir folder. The souvenir sheet and folder will be issued on Sunday, 26th May 2024 to coincide with the King’s 56th birthday.

30th August 2024

The TUSAANNGA help line (in English: "We hear you") is the recipient organisation that will benefit from this year's additional value stamp in Greenland. Kristine Spore Kreutzmann is the artist. The printing method is offset. Traditionally, this type of stamp is issued in full sheets of 10 identical stamps, a souvenir sheet and a stylish souvenir folder.

The fourth part of the series ‘Street Art in Greenland’ brings two more striking examples of art in public spaces reproduced on stamps. This time from Nuuk and Narsarsuaq. They are printed in offset on self-adhesive paper and each issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.

The Greenland trading company KNI turns 250 this year. In the past, the company was known as Royal Greenland Trade. This milestone is marked with a beautiful stamp by Maria Panínguak' Kjærulff. The stamp is printed in offset and comes in sheets of 10 identical stamps.

The definitive series depicting Greenland's coat of arms, created by Bertil Skov Jørgensen based on Kristoffer Gudbrand's design, will be extended with another denomination. Also, on 30th August. Both stamps are printed in laser engraving and issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps.

A brand-new series focuses on Greenlandic dog sleds. Konrad Nuka Godtfredsen is the artist who drew the designs. The first two stamps in the series will be issued on 30th August, in sheets of 10 identical stamps, printed in offset. The series will continue in the coming years.

Our Prestige Booklet no. 1 was very well received last year. Therefore, we are following up with a Prestige Booklet no. 2, which will be issued on 30th August. The theme this time is polar bears, one of the most popular themes for Greenlandic stamps.

The 2024 Sepac Folder will be issued on 27th September. It will contain 9 of the 12 member countries’ Sepac 2024 stamps. As previously mentioned, the theme is ‘Main Tourist Attractions’.

17th October 2024

The HAFNIA24 exhibition in Copenhagen takes place from 17th to 20th October. On the opening day of the exhibition, Tusass Greenland will issue two stamps entitled ‘The Centenary of Greenland’s Unity’. The stamps will be issued in sheets of 10 identical stamps and in an attractive souvenir sheet. This issue is in support of HAFNIA24.

The annual Fishermen’s and Hunters’ Day in Greenland is celebrated with two beautiful stamps illustrated by Ivalo Abelsen. Both stamps are printed in offset and issued about a month before the actual observance day, which is 15th November.

Christmas in Greenland is traditionally the last stamp theme of the year in Greenland. This year, young artist Coco Apunnguaq Lynge has created the two enchanting stamp designs that exude the true Greenlandic Christmas spirit. True to tradition, the stamps are printed in offset and issued in their respective full sheets, along with a beautiful stamp booklet.

17th October is also the issue date for a new set of franking labels. Arctic foxes are the theme of this set of 4 franking labels.

The 2024 Year Pack will also be issued on 17th October, containing all 23 stamps and four souvenir sheets from the year.
