This may sound like a contradiction, but it is actually true. Not only does Greenland have lots of ice and snow, but it also has deserts; Arctic deserts. There is actually less precipitation in North-Eastern Greenland than there is in the Sahara.

One of these Arctic deserts is located near Uummannaq, north of Disko Bay.
The Arctic desert is an incredible mineral landscape, where sulphur and iron-rich minerals crumble into yellow sulphur. There are many unique stones, some of which are estimated to be more than 1.5 million years old.
