Agriculture in Greenland I 1/2

The gardeners on Upernaviarsuk station have continuously put a lot of work into finding suitable kinds of potatoes and vegetables as well as methods of growing for the harsh southwestern Greenlandic climate.

There are now about 10 permanent large suppliers of Greenlandic vegetables and potatoes among the sheep farmers.

Vegetables also have a long history in Greenland, going all the way back to the time of Hans Egede.
