About Tusass Greenland
Tusass Greenland was founded in 1938 under the name of “Grønlands Postvæsen”. For more than five decades, our philatelic business was located in Copenhagen, but since September 1, 1989, we have serviced our loyal customers from our post office in Tasiilaq, East Greenland.
Tusass Greenland takes great pride in compiling an annual stamp programme that conveys the culture, nature and history of Greenland in the best possible manner. We are proud to provide a Philatelic service to collectors in more than 50 counties across the world. In addition, we are most pleased that our postage stamps attract so much international attention.
Our stamp issues are offered, depending on the publication, as singles, sets, blocks of four, souvenir sheets or sheets of 10 stamps, as well as self-adhesive stamp booklets and souvenir folders - and not to forget the popular yearpack, with all of the stamps and souvenir sheets issued per year, assembled in a nice folder. International Collaboration. Tusass Greenland, Filatelia collaborates internationally on a number of stamp issues:
The Nordic countries: This joint Nordic stamp issue has the title ”Top of the World of Stamps”, which is issued every other year. The members of the collaboration are: Greenland, Island, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Åland.
Europa: PostEurop is an organisation for the public post services in Europe.
The organisation is behind a joint yearly EUROPA-issue. Read more about PostEurop
SEPAC: SEPAC is short for Small European Postal Administration Cooperation. Three joint issues issued every other year are planned. The theme for the issues is landscapes and locale issues. SEPAC issues stamps from 14 island states and small nations: Iceland, Faroe Islands, Åland, Greenland, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, San Marino, Malta and the vatican. New department in Denmark
From 1st of June 2019, we have opened a department in Denmark in cooperation with Nordfrim A/S to get even closer to our customers and to lift our service in a number of areas. Nordfrim has an in-depth knowledge of philately and is a professional organization, which since 1965 has serviced collectors in both Scandinavia and the rest of the world. Nordfrim has for more than 20 years been a distributor of Greenlandic stamps. Through our department in Denmark, Nordfrim handles our customer service, the processing of casual sales orders, the receipt of your payments and responding to your customer enquiries. Your subscriptions to Greenlandic stamps will, however, continue to be processed, packaged and despatched from Tusass Greenland, Filatelia, in Tasiilaq.
